Just after rounds on that fine day I was walking down the corridor..lady brings one year old baby and tries to touch my feet..flash back...
lady pregnant for the second time and 100% sure she wants to abort this pregnancy at 2 months..husband supportive but OK with 2nd pregnancy..counselled for about an hour...she cried,cajoled,forced..I listened but counselled to continue pregnancy. I asked them to think over it for 24 hours and then come back for second counselling....she came back 48 hours later..somehow convinced about continuing pregnancy..had a C section healthy,beautiful girl baby last year..i can remember the proud face with happy tears!..
One year now..just congratulated them .My experiance tells me that people take MTP(Abortion) very easily without realising what they are up to..Take for example...
Case 1: Want MTP because this is vacation time and maternity leave will go waste!!
Case 2: Does not want this pregnancy because she had some spicy stuff which may result in abnormal
baby
Case 3:Urgent MTP needed because she had TWINS!
surprising part is most of them are educated and doing well in life..
Of course we counselled against MTP in all these cases and all of those babies are 2-5 years old now.. and Case 3 had 2 lovely identical twins!
