Attended a wedding deep inside a village.Poor but hardworking family.No mantap, no orchestra,no purohit just few elders got together..dhare aagta untu..some one announced..and marriage over! Every one seemed Happy and content with the ceremony....Can u compare this to the pomp and rich 3-4 day marraige ceremonies in towns and cities..wonder why no purohit was willing to come to their house?.may not sound very important right?
Kuvempu;s words came to my mind "Pain and suffering are same for a small boy grown up in a poor family in a hut as it is for any VIP/politician/businessman's kid.Any event in such place is as important as when it a happens in big cities.."..(Kuvempu)..Time to reflect.Alas..who has the time?
